And for the record, I'm on the sidelines, short biased

I covered yesterdays at the lows.  I'm currently on the sidelines watching like VF.  And I'm considering going back on the short here at $4.80

And unlike craigbad, I'm happy to pay 20% on my gains.  That helps fund schools, hospitals roads etc.  Or you can do a "genius Donald Trump" and get others to pay your taxes!

HOLD is the play here unless you are pro trading, then CHARTS is the play here!  I'm making money on this dumpster with a short bias until something fundamental happens.

It's 50/50 right now so I'm watching only from this point.... I also want to see if pumpers here are stupid enough to lie to try to inflate this.

I see some small US shorts covering but the flock leader isn't and I wouldn't either unless insiders bought a SIGNIFICANT amount of shares.

Don't worry Pro, I pay my taxes! Lol I just have a longer timeline. Even a small retail short position of 5000 shares over 3 months old would trigger an extra 6 figures of taxable income this year. I doubt people will be rushing to cover before year end in such a good market year. I expect the UK bill to pass in the spring and I think it will destroy the stock so I'm hoping to cover half ...more

My feelings as well.  Its now a week today since they called the end of strategic review.  They have had time to do insider buying.   And they know what it would mean to investors.  Even non-insiders such as "friends and family" of insiders, the janitor, the receptionisit, the guy that washes the ceo's car, the ceo's next door neightbour, the ceo's wife... ...more

LOL  Yeah.  I think the rise today was people going "oh, oh, the main US Short megaphone was unplugged today by Stockhouse, the pump will restart".  Now Tech traders are going "yawn", time to reshort already? ;-) Gee, really, a vocal short seller on little old stockhouse here can't move a stock!  SHOCKING!  LOL

Maybe you are drastically wrong and you expect the UK bill to destroy the stock? You don't have a clue. I will tell you what to hope for....wake up one day and see the stock shoot up so you can tell yourself how dumb you were to hold the short position simply to avoid paying taxes. Your a clown

@Craigbad Assuming the UK Bill would destroy CXR is as speculative as the longs you so criticize. The UK Bill focuses more on older drugs, newer drugs won't be handled the same way. In some cases, they may actually get more for there drugs.

I wouldn't worry about it much as you are a trader Nossy, just enjoy the run. I will back up what I stated though with more clarity. The outrage that triggered UK bill was an investigation in The Times which yielded many articles specifically calling out Amco. They were taking drugs with price controls, changing the name, introducing them as"new" and jacking the price to exploit a ...more

On a sidenote it might be interesting for those who plan to stay long to watch James Hodgins comment on Knight Therapeutics on Bnn yesterday. He refers to them being cashed up and ready to profit from the "wreckage" that is Concordia and Valeant, buying the assets on the cheap. Jonathan Goodman is one of the smartest most patient men in pharma. You can go back to his previous CC in July ...more
