Mark Thompson

Q3 results belong entirely to M.T.........I feel that he wants to leave, and the board wants him to depart on a HIGH...Good for his reputation, his future prospects, and feeling of Job Well Done scenario..Q4 will belong to Mr. Oberman, and I feel that he will do a fine job, a hands on type of guy....I looked up dates...As mentioned by another blog here Q3 results were reported on a Friday before the market opening....then everything fell apart...I do think that it is a good sign that they are reporting Monday and not Friday......Hopefully Mr. O. will be more transparent...perhaps tell the market about new products and their impact on future bottom and top lines....Don't forget that the last poor results weee caused by a huge impairment charge and hopefully will not be repeated.....we shall see...

I think Marky’s sentiments  are correct. Does anyone here think this was the desired outcome of Thompson? Is anyone here jaded enough to think he purposely destroyed his company, lost shareholder money, lost his shares, destroyed his reputation and was kicked out of the company he founded? The outcome here was more a result of bad timing, bad luck and some incompetence in facing these ...more

You are defending Thompson?   That is shameful and I hope you get what you deserve too.....

Comment by Kazinsky on Nov 06, 2016 8:04am
rad, I can't say that I agree with all of your posts, but you hit the nail on the head with this one (except that I would amend the 4 months to the 12 months).   Clearly, the poster Marky is here for our pure entertainment as I don't believe that anyone who can read and write can be that stupid.  According  to his past posts and what he has said he bought, he is down over ...more

Healthy discussion and clarifying 72 million Cinven finders fee liability used by the short and distort crew, raising the probability that a hard Brexit is unlikely to materialise, and relaying info from conference calls with concordia IR is useful.   I would say you are dafuk barosh but that would be rude. Stom ta'peh before you make yourself sound even more ridiculous.

You were a tiny bit harsh to Marky....   We need people like him to lose tons of money.   So that the rest of us can make it.    One thing he should end up learning from the Concordia debacle -  If you find yourself with a crappy company crushed with debt and they have a crappy business model ... get rid of it (and fast) - before it becomes a disaster.
