Steve Cohen (Point 72) is out

For novice investors on this board (and those that read the board) that Cohen is out is more than just bad news for retail investors or traders. Its a confirmation that no matter how the SP moves, large funds are dumping this company. Add that to the fact that insiders aren't talking nor buying their own stock. MrHulot needs you to follow his advice because he has lost a lot of money and is using this chat room to encourage you to buy CXR. I would never buy this company based on his advice. There are no analysts recommending a buy on this stock. My opinions DYDD

Why does everyone read so much into an institutional investor disposing shares for a profit?  If you read Point72's Sept 30 13F, their cost per share had been averaged down to less than what the stock spiked to after the Feb 1 announcement of the payment to Cinven.  In fact, the fund was up 10% and likely more, because they probably continued averaging down after Sept 30.  Who ...more

Cohen's Point72 just disclosed on yesterday Feb 14th 2017 in the 13G filed for period ending December 30 2016, but looks like they  sold all 4.7 million shares right after the horrible Q3 in Mid November.  So unless Point72 was hedged or short boxed (which some said they were on Twitter)  they had a HUGGEEE loss. They could not have bought in Q1 and Q2 and then sold in Q3 at a ...more
