Some IB's called in some short interest and there was some forced short covering. It happens.    Chapter 11 restructuring is a very real possibility and the bull thesis that "this comopany is not going bankrupt any time soon"  is not a good reason to invest in any company. Valeant is headed down the drain too..   gotta be painful for anyone who is long here.

Only the inconsequential loser shorts who aren’t on the memo list are still here.

Hmmm....    Shorts are the winners here.   Sounds like you are the one losing and there is still 100% downside.     Good luck.

StoolBreath, the genius of the short thesis was timing. The party is over. Everyone has left or is leaving. You and the other Cockroaches will be left cleaning the ashtrays and doing the dishes.

Agree with you DP.  I think MrHulot is either severely underwater or a paid pumper.  He is blaming the shorts because he needs someone to blame for his poor investment decision in this company (other then himself)and calling them coackroaches makes his losses more palatable?   I find bangholding psychology fascinating!
