Guidance.....

How could anyone expect Concordia which has a majority of their drugs sold in the UK which should finalize the Health Service Medical Supplies (Costs) Bill in the coming months and has already had many of their drugs changed from both "A & C" to "M" which puts pricing control into the hands of the DoH, no company in their right minds would make any type of estimate with the current outlook for 2017 from the UK Government.....CMA issues will be something that could be pushed out till next year and beyond as shown from previous cases such as Pfizer and others....

If they can't offer guidance, then institutions will not ...   and many CAN NOT..   buy .... That is like saying in December, well we can't offer guidance because we don't know if Brexit is going through...    The end result is, that the investment community has NO confidence that they can service their debt without guidance. So the share price will continue to ...more

Let's use your example of a drug that was increased in price by Concordia.... Nefopam  Jan.   "C"    10.59                  Apr.   "A"     51.00                 ...more

Given the latest figures, I don't see how they can even service their debt once the price cuts in the UK come through. Cash flow is on the razors edge right now of just servicing the debt and their is still the price cuts, class action law suit and the possibility of fines to finally put an end to this thing and force restructuring. It would be a miracle for this to get turned around in its ...more

It was my best short ever, however i'm getting sick of looking at it. As i posted previously, I closed half my position at $2.50 and went long on Crh and Bus with a small short position on Peek. Realistically Cxr has enough money to stay afloat into next year but has an extremely low probability making money for commons but I think I'll close the balance of my position before the weeks out ...more

CarigBad, you are a Shorter, but not a Cockroach. Not only because of your correct decision to cover but because you never lied or exaggerated like the Cockroaches. Good luck to you

Just be careful MrHulot, turnaround stories can be multi baggers when they have a clear path to reduce debt and increase cashflow. Chh was a great little one I missed that was a 4 bagger in no time. Right now Cxr has no strategy or clear path and debt to ebitda is through the roof, so the odds aren't stacked in their favor. The only reason I'm looking at Phm right now is they have a decent ...more

Reason why they did not give guidance was not the unknown in the UK portfolio  ...   it is no probably more clear than it was in Q2-2016 when the health care bill was first introduced.  The reason, as I understood, is that in the near term the company has more immediate concerns - as they repeatedly referred to "business stabilization"      Restructuring ...more

Correct - without guidlance funds can not buy this stock (regulations prohibit purchase), and institutions won't touch it.  The share price will not be able to go upwards with retail purchases alone.  This is unfortunate for any retail long on this stock.

Today, there was approximatly 6 millions dollars worth of share that traded hand today ? If it wasn't any hedge fund buying theses shares, who was it ??? Your grandmother ??? There are hedge fund buying and they are not in a rush to sell it back.  Whatever the price, hedgefunds are always buying. Keep that in mind.  People keep repeting what other say when it has never been ...more
