Shorts are making a killing...can you show me

Shorting20, TraderB, GenericA and others, evidently some of you made 21% in last 4 days, which I would say is great work. But can you elucidate with a post showing your actual trades, last week or the last 2 weeks, so I can see exactly how you did it and how much you made?

The share price has deteriorated since one day prior to earnings.  I think it is reasonable to assume these posters are short (with the exception of Trader B who may be trading in and out) as they have been all posting here since the days that the stock was in the 50 dollars zone.  Add deathpool who was here since the 60's.  And lattace as well who is obviously still short by ...more

I agree with you on 1. if restructuring happens, the stock will drop to pennies and 2. the shorts made the right call for months now. Still at this price, it is anyone's guess/prediction if Oberman can turn the ship and that is key, no matter what the pencil pusher analysts numbers crunch.  I am a still working older guy and still interested in learning.  Though I am a long ...more

Good response dave.  While my name was not mentioned in your string of shorts,  I will post mine if MrHulot posts his first  - right from when he first started posting on this bull board.  Fair?  I have nothing to hide but these are not trades in the last 2 weeks - I have been short since February 2016 and have only added to my short position.  All times when I have ...more

Thanks Health, Your post was informative to me. From what I read, shorting can have its challenges at times. Of course, I have absolutely no control or influence on Mr. Hulot but hopefully that will not deter any other short, who wants to offer their insights with their specifics or more general tactics

Yes, shorting (retail, at least) definitely has challenges.  And the more bearish a stock is, the higher the cost of borrow is.  I don't know if this is different for institutions ..  maybe rad can offer some color on this.  There was one time this year when there were no shares to short (anywhere it seemed, both CAD and US) and word was that Cohen was controlling it as a ...more

daveinmiss..   I don't want to sound like I am a short expert..   But there is a big difference between being a tactical short (shorting on the pumps up or news) then establishing a short position in, say October, 2015 like Cohodes and Michael Krensavage.   (Krensavage, by the way, is the best in the pharma space in my opinion.  His returns speak for themselves)   ...more

Belch, I have told you all from the beginning many times. I started buying in the $80s and have averaged down to below $15 now. But not by increasing my share count but by buying and selling. If volatility allows me, I am hoping to be below $5 in the next few months and will be in a good position for the breakout if they can right the ship. 2017 is the year for CXR. Management has to make big ...more

MrHUlut I think the request was to post all your trades as in institutional buy/sell record like some traders do.  You never once have said that you are selling - always just when you are buying so quite frankly it is difficult (if impossible) to believe you that you have averaged down to $5 when the share price never recovered to any substantial degree during the slide. I am not calling you ...more

You need to read a post from time to time before Belching off comments. Here. I’ll make it easy for you to see again. Buy in the $2s and sell in the $3s until breakout.

MrHulot:  I can't help but notice you post here 24/7.  Do you have a life or is it to monitor all the posts here and try and get others sucked into buying a company that is about to go into Chapter 11 Restructuring?   Do you know what a 50% bond yield means to the equity?
Comment by MrHulot on Mar 18, 2017 10:07pm
No one said there is no risk involved and all longs are cogniscent of it. If you don’t understand the concept of risk, I will explain it to you. It’s iike going out without wearing anything underneath your kilt.

Your posts add no value to this bullboard.  You sound like a a "cogniscent" (whatever that is) grade niner.  Do you realize that you are ignored by 46 people because all you are is a troll posting here 24/.  I don't even believe you own any shares, there is just something seriously wrong with you.

Waitch out for that gust of wind, Ruddy

Hurlut probably has more money in his portfolio than all shorts combined. i feel like he is just trolling all of the shorts trying to fear monger the longers, i don't think he even cares about the fear mongering he is just having fun with it until the storm ends so he can sell of his shares at a gain. we are either screwed or we will make a lucrative killing. i don't care if i lose all my ...more

LOL.   And will the baggies post their losses?  I think for the most part these posters are still short.  I am waiting for a prepack and waiting for this.  Mark Thomopson is the one who has to show exactly how he got out of his stock at $13 and Kupinsky at $5 .  That seems like a pretty juicey price now, eh?
