Everyone should go to sleep for awhile.

The level of discourse on this board is pathetically low.

The bets have been placed on this stock.  There are those that think that the company has some chance of recovery, at some level, and that, if that can be achieved, the stock will bounce back to some multiple of what it is today.  So, if you bought in at anything close to today's price, you have at least a chance of making a great return.  It is not a completely implausible argument, but it cannot be stated with any level of certainty.

Then there are those who believe that the company is destined for bankruptcy, and that the stock must therefore inevitably go to zero.  This too is not a completely implausible argument, but, again, it to cannot be stated with certainty.

There is currently no space between these two groups.  The two camps are set in.  Only a tiny amount of the stock is trading, and that is just manipulation between short-term day-traders.  The two groups are not listening to each other.  Hell, they are not even talking to each other, save and except the handful of people who frequent this board, trading insults and vainly thinking that they are going to convince people in the other camp (the overwhelming majority of whom are not on this board and pay no attention to what is said here).  Why do you guys waste your time doing this?  Rad10, WTF do you care if Mr. Hulot loses his money?  Are you part of the remaining less than 5% if short interest?  Are you hoping that the believers will simply cave so that you can buy their shares cheaper than today without your having to wait for the bankruptcy that you say is inevitable?  If so, I've got news for you:  Your strategy is not working.  99% of the short interest opportunity with this stock has passed.  Even the Chicken Farmer has cashed out.  His only beef now is with the Thompson lawsuit.

Mr. Hulot, you seem to have placed your bet, along with a few other vocal longs on this board and the vast majority of current holders of the stock who are, by the fact that they hold the stock, long, but remain silent and are not trying to convince anyone of the rightness of the position.  Why is it that you feel the need to attack those who do not share your view, with name calling and the whole bit?

I checked out of this board awhile ago due to the low quality of discourse.  I checked in today only to see if anything had changed.  It hasn't, so I am checking out again with this message.

You guys should all go to sleep and wake up after something significant happens.  At that time one or the other will be able to say "I told you so".  Until then, you are just wasting your time.

Have a good day/night ladies/gentlemen.

Then there are those of us who say little and double down at these Stock Prices.  The investor slides do not give much detail other than aligning efficiencies, talking to creditors, divesting in US, launching more products in core markets in U.K., France & Germany, and shedding losers products. Simple stuff. Nevertheless,  at least they put the new BoD place their names on a 5 year ...more

I was thinking it may be worth the risk as well and a good trade, but their growth presentation had a neutral effect.  I am playing ith  the other Cohode Cabal shorts and they all seem to be going sideways. Home Cap has been saved from going to zero by the richest man in the world and as crazy as it sounds I think that if  Warren doesn't get his shares on Tuesday in the vote he ...more

Cohodes Cabal LOL, Ben, That’s the first thing you ever said that I agree with. The Chicken farmers 15 minutes of fame has ended. He is now getting atomic wedgies from his shorts.
