Rad10, I am pretty sure that everyone wanted to know the answer to that question, but I was not at all surprised that Oberman declined to answer.  These negotiations are always bound by strict confidentiality until the proposal is announced. The fact that someone voluntarily took a discount, however, shows what makes this situation so interesting:  The unsecured debt, and possibly, the ...more

fair points meetoo - I was half asleep when I listened to the replay of the conference call,  They will continue to make secured payments and have adequate liquidity for the next 12 months. If you want a flutter - by all means buy the common stock - its a speculative gamble. If you want a return - stick to the secured notes at 82 cents on the dollar.

meetoo I look here only out o morbid curiosity...though I wonder if something happens positively should I jump back in to try to make up a a loss. For me, I think you are far too optimistic, no one on the board or the CEO's, that is Mark/Marc or Oberman have ever acted in the interest of shareholders. And I believe that is undisputed. Why would that change?

Oberman is still an unknown, but there is every possibility that it has not changed, but it does not take a very favourable result for the price per share to go above what it is today.
