Shares Status

What will happen to the shares listed on NYSE ? will it be issued under the new company post restructuring or what is going to happen ?

Nothing! They are and the new company will be tradable at OTC market (pink sheets). Saving the listing cost and there are no US security regulations for the OTC market, only the Canadian SE rules will apply which are much laxer

Thank you so much ... basically this means we still  can sell whatever shares we have ...I thought trading is restriced until shares are relisted under the new company name if this ever going to happen again .

Correct you can sell your shares and I suggest you do it now or before Aug 15. Once they close the recapitalization offer and announce the final dilution, current shares can cost few cents or a dollar, who knows.  Obviously, I don't know what will happen but I have sold everything a while back at a significant loss and will wait for the new shares be issued. Will evaluate the Q2 ...more

Exactly... the restructured company will save tens of millions per year of interest and principal payments. So if they can show positive cash flow and stop the revenue decline we may have a good pump here. In my opinion, the current shares are worthless as they will be getting a few % of the new float that is still unknown. But since the debt holders will become new shareholders, I’m sure they ...more

Not the same… I did not read the restructuring proposal in depth but they give a certain % to the debt holders in lieu of the debt. Then they need to raise approx. $586M I believe how – private or public placement of shares don’t know. And the existing shareholders will get 0.35% of the newly recapitalized company (ownership). I believe this means new shares, not sure if new symbol or no. As no ...more
