If the 32 million tendered

Changes and goes up post confirmation it'll yell corruption.  Some non tenderers likely got extension post result.  Hopefully that's not the next shoe to fall

I think that scenario is the least of our worries.

Managment just tendered all their units and flat out signalled this is worth less than $15.50, and this fool is worried about if the SIB is 256% subscribed or 257% subscribed. You keep spamming and speculating random nonsense rather than focusing on facts and reality. Back on mute you go.

They tendered all their units because they knew half or less would actually get filled.  They couldn't expect to sell 19 million

If I'd been begging people to sell me their shares in the $14.50s just a couple of days ago, I'd personally be keeping a very low profile right now!   I'm just thankful I only have 6,000 shares at avg. of $13.74.  I'm not too worried about breaking even within a reasonable timeframe once things settle down - and I'll collect the decent divi in the meantime,  ...more

I had 6k units entering the SIB - just as you Jay... I had 3.7k units pre-SIB announcement with an ACB of ~$14 ... i purchased 2.3k units @ ~$14.50 to play the arb trade ... tendered 4.5k units, yet i'm now left with more units than I had pre-SIB, with a tax bill and ACB for tax purposes of ~$19 ... pretty incredible how that backfired. another scar, another lesson. i still like the assets ...more

Michael Cooper spelled out the rationale for tendering all shares. The SIB Offer represents unit repurchases at approximately 51% discount to March 31, 2023 NAV per unit and provides unitholders the ability to maintain the same exposure to the office assets while receiving approximately 31% of the market capitalization of Dream Office. borne2run - do you not recognise bafflegab and pure BS when you read it? When the largest holders tender a big chunk of their holdings at the offered price, Frankie is right, they are clearly saying what they think thie REIT is worth. Being over subsirbed by 250% is NOT a vote of confidence or an attempt to maintain their exposure to this company. The fact that less than 5 million of the shares ...more

Dean, I didn't suggest it was bullish.  Many posters were surprised that DAM tendered all their shares.  Well, Michael Cooper flat out told everyone why DAM may tender. Each unitholder can choose to increase their ownership of Dream Office or more or less maintain their ownership per cent and reduce their capital investment DAM cjhose to "more or less maintain their ...more

I had 4.7k units pre-SIB, tendered all 4.7k and bought myself 2.5k units to keep just in case the SIB was undersubscribed (lol!) since I wanted to still have a position. I'm now stuck with about 2k more units than I wanted to have but I will keep them. Honestly, I slept pretty okay last night. I like my Dream Office position and I really like what is being done with the luxury boutique ...more
