Sold my position first thing this am.
Disappointing earnings. EPS about .14 cents vs an average of .38 cents in the previous 3 quarters.

Love the dividend and lumber futures for 1st Q are looking good. That said, they warned about higher interest rates & other factors that could affect future performance & I'm not convinced (at this point) on whether Hixon was a good deal.

I'll track and buy back in if the price is right.

Lumber prices doubled comparing to Q4, so I decided to hold.

I'm not sure whether to hold or sell lol. Lately it seems that once a company has a bad report (in this current environment) and starts selling off, the sell-off seems to continue for awhile before investors see value again. I think I'll watch it and if the Doman stock price keeps retreating I'll be out too. There's lots of opportunities in energy stocks right now.

Just wondering. We knew that this quarterly report wasn't going to be as good as the prior ones. We do know that the price of lumber has been climbing up for a while now.  We know that spring and summer in North America is approaching and the building season will see a pick up. We see DBM share prices drop to a point that they offer a decent chance to do very well in the next two quarters

1. Simply disappointed in 4th Q earnings. In 3rd Q they had some transportation issues (lack of truck drivers) and were still booking acquisition costs related to Hixon. 2. Expected benefits from the Hixon deal would start showing up in 4th Q. 3. In the current environment .. inflation worries & a deranged Putin .. I wanted to lock in my profits. 4.
