Not "games," just reality.  The core of DBM is still CanWel, Honsador and Hickson, which are mainly bldg material distributors.  These assets will be challenged for at least 2 qtrs.  In their 3rd qtr report last week WY forecasted flat to down results for their US distribution divisions for the next 2 qtrs.  Amar and team have done a great job in preserving the

wow where can i get a crystal ball just like yours?? guess all those analysts are wrong about DBM was clearly stated in CC that dividend isnt going anywhere strong cash position,focused on reducing debt even more with possibility of M&A in talks with 2 companys ill sell all my positions and buy at $5.75 if that ever happens

IMO, the Q3 results should provide Amar and his team with the means to maintain the dividend at its current level. At the current share price level and heading into the tax loss season we might see Amar step in again and add to his share count as he did on Dec. 20 and 22, 2022 when he purchased 33,000 shares. There is also some reason to feel a greater deal of security with Fitch's Oct

Since  as  you mention  many  took  their losses  last  December so  I  would  expect pressure  from  that  source  to  be less  this year.  while xenes25  is  hoping  history repeats  itself so  he can cover his short.

That  being  said  these  "professional"  US   based  shorters  are  unlikely  to  go away  and  will  be consulting   their    shorters   " Dirty Tricks Book"   to   decide  on  their  next  move.

i dont mind at all i just pick up more on any down cycle last i bought were at $6.45 a couple of weeks ago.....a no brainer with the dividend that DBM is paying!!!!! come on shorters bring it on you are doing me a favour

Why do these US  based shorters come in to Canada ? Are  there not lots  of stocks  to short in the  US?  It  is because  a few years ago the Canadian regulators eliminated  the  so called  UP TICK  rule  which  still  exists  in the  USA .  Under  the Up Tick  rule  shorts  were

Notice  that   yesterday stock   closed   at   6.45   the low  for  the day.  I  doubt   that  this  was a coincidence.

A question  would  be  whether  the debasing of the shares  to  6.45    was   a.   a prelude  to  covering  their  short  or b.  just  a further action  to continue to debase  the shares that  is ongoing .

again who cares with $.14 a quarter in dividend i enjoy them dropping the SP and grab shares anytime i can adding to my position. The SP of this company does not negativly impact the royalies they pay out, nor performance like: EBIDA and all other metrics as they pertain to DBM's buissness activities. this is a long tearm hold and collect situation and when you look at it that way SP dosent
