RE:There must be more to the story....I think this is step in the right direction and in my opinion it never really made much sense to be both an investor and a investment banker. Dundee Goodman Merchant Partners (investment banker) got dundee into some new investments but hasn't delivered positive earnigns or cash flow to the parent company over any extended period of time.
My guess is that this suggests that Dundee Corp is also going invest less of its own capital in new mining deals going forward and rather focus its capital on developing its existing portfolio of businesses and share buybacks.... I think that's what they mean by "evolving capital allocation priorities"
