Q3 Results

Looks like results were non eventful unless I missed something. Did the market overeact expecting something different? i'll need to understand the writedown of TaurX of $33m or $0.37/unit further but thought the results were a bit dissapointing. They have a lot of cash and they should be doing a SIB or buying back the prefs faster.

They wrote down Parq and Tuarx now. They want to buy back shares. If they cashed in all their assets they would not have a chance cause the share price would be closer to $3.00. I bet they will take out debentures 20mil than 50 mill. Then options at $1.50. Then they will start pulling the good stuff out of the hat. One of my biggest issues is there are an amount of companies using DST mining ...more

I certainly didn't see Q3 results as "non eventful". 1. Sold Blue Goose and paid down ~$32m in debt. 2. Streamlined cost structure. 3. ~$84m in cash. 4. Completed new mining deals. Keep in mind that Dundee Corp. is still in the process of returning to the culture and structure that led to Dundee's past success in the mining business. While a few of their ventures ...more

zach50 - I hope you are right in your optimistic assessment. What I saw in Q3 release: 1) Sale of Blue Goose = old news from three months ago 2) Cost structure no big change from three months ago 3) Cash on hand lower than reported three months ago 4) A few mining deals but nothing very meaningfull In Q2 release (three months ago): "Appointed Lila Manassa Murphy as Executive Vice ...more

Pierrelebel... I see you're more pessimistic, but hopful! I personally am more positive, realizing of course that there is risk involved... here's my take! The monetization of the non-core assets with the sale of BG, $34m debt paydown, and a reasonable reduction of overhead expenses are all positive. Regardless if it is "old news", it's the Q3 report... that's what ...more

Maritime, Magna,Moneta, Troilus, Atico, and majority of DC portfolio is stable or gone up in the last two weeks. SPC Nickel is the one that dropped. I grabbed a sack of shares in SPC nickel today. Most metals look stable now that the critical minerals agreement is in play. Stock piles are at all time lows except iron. Iron is the only metal dragging some big nickel and gold companies down that ...more

Atico had a very nice report. How much do we own from Dundee. I have a decent position in atcmf but may grab a little more today.  T

I think around 5 mill. Atico is great they are making cash, but scaring it down today based on permit renewal due January 2022.

Dundee owns 9.6% of Atico... roughly 11.6m shares!
