Be careful

If you plan on buying more Dundee stock in Dec for the mining just realize that other investors will be buying because of TauRx.  This means that the demand for shares will increase which will also attract momentum algos further increasing demand so you might pay more.  GLTA!

Agree.  Speculation and volume related to TauRx should to increase leading up to year end.   I don't really think much about technical analysis but breaking through $1.90 with volume is a good sign as the stock has topped at the mid $1.80s a few times in the past 6 years...Dundee could trade up to $2.50 in short order.

"the run up in stock price from Oct 7th at $1.50 has caught me by surprise. " The shares have been going up following the announcement that Jorey Charnett purchased the block of 12,493,791 Class A subordinate voting shares previously held by Herr Investment. He also has been buying shares on the market since then. LINK to announcement

What is your opinion on him taking control of the shares?  I thought it was due to the 8000 Tau share sale at $125.

"taking control of the shares?" Not quite.  It is only a large position of "A" shares, not control.

The shares were previously controlled by Herr Investment Group as investment adviser to Pointillist Partners an investment fund of which Mr. Chernett was co-portfolio manager and the largest owner. Pointillist was the beneficial owner.  Mr. Chernett took legal and voting control. The question is why did he take voting control?
