Unusual volume today

Has anyone noticed the unusual volume today?  About 5x the average (Yahoo Finance).  I hope it bodes well for this quarter's earnings (tomorrow after close).

Intact had blowout earnings today so the market expects the same from DFY tomorrow.  Hence the early buying going into the earnings based off of a peers results   Expect significant top and bottom line growth as well as dividend increase of at least 10 percent.  Stock should get rerated up by a few analysts and run through $40 with an all time new high happening before the end

You were correct on your assessments.  Divy increase - check.  Top / bottom line growth - check and check.  Let's see if we can break all time high tomorrow, unless we hit a bump in the road at 8:30 AM - US PPI data coming out.

Even with a macro event bump like a PPI surprise, I don't see this week ending poorly.  Those results were well in excess of analysts expectations. EPS expectations or 0.72.  Came in at 0.86 Dividend increase by Intact was 10 percent.  We did 16 percent.   This is likely to run to the mid 40's quickly and analysts should all move it to a target in the high 40s
