NAV April 10

~$14.99. Premium on the capital shares as of the close: ~$0.55. Crucial inflation data coming up. Let's see if this seemingly irrational rally can last. Multiples expanding despite recession fears.

Most of the quadravest split funds increased the cash positions, BK substantially, raising it from 17% to 29%.. somebody there thinks the big recession is coming and best to collect a few % on the cash rather than being allin. Not sure what kind of amount  of cash DGS is sitting on these days, but usually its not much.

I'm wondering if all this recession talk is just a head fake? The US just reported a drop in unemployment to a near record low of 3.5%. How do we have a recession when everyone that wants a job can get one, not to mention wages are high. The consumer remains resilient.

I agree that there's not much sign of recession.  If you want a garage built or house renovation, get ready to wait. Want a new car, same thing.   Pent up demand should keep the economy humming. Mortgage payments going up? Take a second job!

Bond market has never been wrong in the last 100 years... so my bet  is by the summer it will sink in... Too much easy money in the last 5 years and then recordsetting speed for  interest rates hikes... it all spells disaster.  Canada may not be as bad as the US, but unfortunately we get beat up when they do.
