NAV May 3

~$14.97. Closing premium on capital shares: ~$0.61.

A reasonably strong outperformance in the face of an increasingly negative environment resulted in an increase in the premium that I already consider overinflated. The unit NAV is now ~$0.27 underwater and needs to rise by ~1.47% to achieve the payment threshold.

Correction: The unit NAV needs to rise by ~1.80% to achieve the $15.24 payment threshold.

Not doing it today, altho some hopeful investors are bidding up the stock. Meanwhile LCS with a valuation over a buck higher gets dumped. Risk on atttiudes.

I don't believe I will ever fully understand the logic behind the premiums/discounts attributed to split funds. Perhaps there are too many cross-currents, with significant short-covering and investors terrified of missing the bottom providing ongoing support even on negative days. If you look thru Yahoo comments, youll see the comments from the buyers !   They are after the distribution!    Most dont understand leverage, etc.
