Special divvy?

I expect an announcement tomorrow. Last year it was US$0.22, I will be disappointed if it is not at least the same.

Last year the trust paid out $0.3867 in distributions including the $0.22 special distribution (the quarterly distribution was only raised to $0.075 in November so the special distribution made up for the lower distributions during the first half the year). DRI intends to distribute 20-30% of cash earnings. Last year cash earnings were $1.85 so the amount distributed (21%) was pretty much at the ...more

The special distribution is non-cash. I'm disappointed.

That's just the unit distribution they have to do for tax purposes. Did the same thing last year, 3.6 cents non-cash with a consolidation of units and increase in ACB. The year end cash distribution should be announced this week.

I hope you are right. Last year there was just one press release, seems odd they would have two separate announcements.
