Dividend

If I buy here prior to March 15, I receive dividend on the 28 of March.
Is this correct for new shareholder ?

I believe you would have to make the purchase before the close on the 13th to get the dividend.

The press release of March 7 states shareholders of record as of March 15. The dividend is paid in cash, correct? Never owned a dividend stock before.

Yes, cash in your account.  The last day to actually purchase would be the 13th to be a shareholder of record on the 15th I believe.   But buy whenever.  It's 2.083 cents divi on a stock that fluctuates that much daily so not like you'll be missing much.  If anything this seems to often come off more than the dividend amount on the ex date.

To  be  a shareholder  of  record  on  March  15th   the  last  day  You  have to buy   is  March 13th  as trades  of that day  will  settle on the  fifteenth  as  correctly   pointed out by last poster .

note  starting  in  May  some  time   trades  will  move  from   2 day  settlement  to   one   day   which  will  mean   you  will   mean  the record date  will  only  be  one  day  before   the  payable  date, ...more
