Well, the fact that they've shorted these crazy amounts of shares and failed to have any impact bodes well for the longs, whenever they cover their positions they will accentuate the upward pressure...  Time will tell who has more patience, longs on a solid macro trend or shorts betting on short term correction that may not materialize... Ray I don't know where you got this info you posted, but it means ziltch. Short interest data is only officially released twice per month. You can find the schedule at the link below. The last update was issued on Feb 9. DNN was running at ~1.5% at that date (before the big runup obviously). The next reporting date is Feb 27. Anything else is guesswork, and as far as I'm concerned, highly ...more

Ray Short volume? Care to explain what this even means? I was referring to short interest. Short interest data is only posted twice per month as I previously pointed out. Other purported realtime metrics are of highly questionable value.

Ray, No I don't. Do you? Why don't you enlighten the board with your knowledge about the relevance and accuracy of the metric 'short volume'?  I only track reliable data. In this case, short interest.
