Nuclear energy was always green... it is all some world scam that put it behind the scene so far. But now with carbon bills, there is no other way we could meet the world energy needs without nuclear reactors..... Hydro projects make more environmental hazards.... Solar is not possible with the current metal production.... and more expensive.... Wind is not consistent....  ...more

Yes indeed,  and also newer technologies are helping make things more compact.  These days we have much small compact reactors able.  I would also suppose things are safer these days as we learn from the past.  There is nothing better than nuclear,  waste can be disposed of safely.  Nuclear uses most of what is put in compared to most.  Yes expensive at first but ...more
