It's very odd to see them choosing share buybacks while the stock is at this level.

Companies typically buy back shares when they consider them significantly undervalued.

They should have announced a special dividend to incentivize shareholders to continue holding the stock.

Exactly why ADF is buying their own shares.  Very cheap stock.  If they earn $1.90 a share this year it's a 10 times p/e.  Earnings growth in Q1 was almost 200%. Revenue growth was over 30%. Hard to find a company growing like that trading at such a low p/e.
