100 share trades to trigger sell orders

Same old same old. I got my order in for 5000 shares to buy at $12.00.

is there a bad news that came out?

no bad news. earnings out next Thursday before 8am. brokers are trying to trigger stop losses or spook retail investors. sales in increments of 100 shares can only make sense if you are a broker that has no cost to trade.
