Sprott's investment here
I've followed ES since early 2000 and invested in his mutual funds back then. A very savvy investor and great at picking stocks for his various funds. I think his office was like a revolving door with many junior explorers trying to sell him and recall him saying way back then that after a time you could just intuitively know who the winners were going to be. In recent years he has moved his investment activities to acquiring junior miners for his personal gain.....but think he likely still has that "intuitive" instinct for the winners.
I see on the recent DSV presentation that ES owns about 27% of the company and from another source that he has about 77M shares. Anyone here know what his average cost for these shares are....just nice to have as a reference. I've owned DSC for a while now and bought more today. From listening to his past weekly wrap up blog I know that he feels Discovery is a huge find and will grow to become a monster. Will be interesting to see how this plays out over time.

If you review the historical press releases over the last two years you should be able to ballpark what his average basis is over all his purchases.
