Other reasons for rise in DSV!

Why would the ETFs that has to buy DSV bc it now will be included in an index wait until the last 30 minutes of trade the day before??

There might be other reasons for the last half an hour rise of 10%+ and massive volume....

I guess we will find out monday, if there are new drill results pending or some interest in the M&A market... 

The ever lingering question is, will First Majestic aquire DSV? It is just a stones throw from San Dimas mine...

I still think the likely answer is a large private transaction took place at 2.43. Not much other explanation for an average price above 2.35. A lot of shares had to change hands above that to balance out all the shares traded below. The amount of shares traded above the average would have to be far larger than I suspect would be offered on the exchange. Could it be a large share holder selling a ...more

To all those wondering, a quick email to the company asking for a statement may be the best way to figure out cause of the unusual trading. A flood of emails on Monday morning may get us NR.

After some thought, I doubt it was a leek or insider trading. With volume that far out of normal a flashing red light had to have popped up some regulator's screen forcing a halt for unusual activity. Also, if the company was sitting on drill results or a buyout with that kind of volume they would called for a halt.

First Majestic would be on the short list of potential sutiors for Cordero.  And, Keith N. has overpaid for many silver deals in the past, so who knows what our shares will be worth in the future - possibly more than you might think. All Taj and company need to do is continue to drill this out, add ounces and eventually crank out an updated PEA that shows a killer NPV for this project that ...more
