It didn't affect the peso, so I think it was just a "final straw" for a big investor. It should recover once they are gone. IMHO

I disagree. The ban on open-pit has been there already a committee forwarding it to the house isn't much more that AMLO proposing it in Feb 2024. They are merely putting all his proposals out for discussion. The only recent change that justifies this sell off is the "invite list for the Sheinbaum inauguration" which was just released.
