Sounds coming out of Sheinbaum sound omininous

https://www.bnamericas.com/en/news/sheinbaum-announces-review-of-mexicos-bill-to-ban-open-pit-mining

“There will be no fracking... but we need to review the others [bills]. For example, the production of salt from the mine nationalized by president Lpez Obrador cannot be exploited because it could be considered an open-pit mine,”

The minister added that the “exploration and production needs of strategic minerals for the competitiveness and security of our country” were discussed, but did not provide further details.

Sounds extremely restrictive and on a one by one basis, so if one company is "lucky" it will cost an arm and a leg and be very limited re what profits you will be able to pull out of the country after Mexico takes its cut. She is only crying about the salt mine because its nationalized. Ridiculous really, to give that as an example. She certainly is not anywhere close to Miley of Argentenia, thats for sure. Same strangehold approach, she only intends to open up the airways just enough, so that the victim she wants to milk can barely survive.

Its funny because its true: She cries about the open pit salt mine because its nationalized. Basically she has no problem harrassing the private sector or outright expropriating foreign companies. However as soon as she is affected by her own stupid policies, she starts to pout.  Shows you what a ridiculous country Mexico is.
