The enabling technology behind D-HAT™ is a patented Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) cell that safely produces green hydrogen gas on-board and on-demand through an electrolysis process.

Diesel-Hydrogen Assist Technology (D-HAT™) is a certified and warrantied aftermarket onboard hydrogen generator. Through electrolysis, it separates steam distilled water into hydrogen and oxygen, producing pure hydrogen on demand. The hydrogen is infused into the fuel-air mixture of any large diesel engine to enhance the fuel burn.

By delivering hydrogen into an engine, D-HAT™ increases combustion efficiency from approximately 70% up to 93%. This produces more power, burns less fuel, decreases maintenance costs, and reduces emissions.
