Infrastructure spend

Imperial Oil recently announced a 1.4B capex commitment. Assume other oil and gas companies are increasing their spend as well. How long do E shareholders have to wait to hear a positive press release announcing new contracts for their specialized assets..

Their entire client base is increasing capex. Q4 results will be good. Price and volume are moving up nicely.

Havent shareholders heard enough "should be" from Enterprise's management and shouldn't they expect some real news.

Usually, people buy on rumors and sell on news, if news doesn't exceed expectations. Buying on real news is too late.

Yes, it has a certain degree of speculation, but it is based on some educated guess, because of historical cycle for the industry. The boom of the service sector follows strong growth of the oil sector. That is a historical fact. If history will repeat itself, E will be the right investment to hold on to, at least for the time being. However, I do want to learn from you and because I am retiring ...more
