From the Italian Study
"54% of patients admitted to the ICU developed an
infection, which was due to gram-negative microorganisms in 67% of the cases."
This would seem to imply (through extrapolation and basic math) that more than 1/3 of Covid-19 patients develop gram-negative, sepsis like infections.
2 Million have died form Covid-19 so far.
Closing in on 400,000 in the US alone. Implyinig that perhaps 120,000 may have been able to benefit from a PMX treatment?
Isn't that double our normal targeted popultion of Severe Sepsis patients?
