Question

GORF I have a question. Lets say I have a 100,000 shares of spectral. If a reverse split (10 to 1) occurs, and I receive 10,000 baxter stocks, do I still get to keep my 100,000 shares of spectral?

Nope Megatron... If that was a serious question you may want to read up a bit on the basics of investing. That is a serious suggestion and I'm not trying to be a d!ck...

So you are suggesting there is no reverse split going to happen. Since you mention a conservative $60 share price for spectral in the future?

Don't you think that Baxter has bought Spectral already at a good discount. Reason the stock is only going up a little at a time. No one in company with a position of power cares about the price. They know what it will sell for. I have owned shares since the cardiac invention. Why is Paradiam not saying anything.

Bingo Quacker! and Mega my $60 target price is without a share split. I always has been.

Are you suggesting that Spectral and Baxter already have a signed deal wherein Baxter will purchase either Spectral as a whole or the NA Rights to PMX  ? MM

I don't know whether a deal has been inked but I most certainly believe that there is a deal in principle that has been agreed on by both parties. I assume that the further along the trial progresses at the current success rate the higher that takeout figure will be as gates are successfully open and hurdles are crossed off. I'm sure BTD has increased the buyout price accordingly for ...more

Agree with your thesis, except the last three words.  Maintaining too low of a share price for too long has watered down the ultimate ROI to every long term holder ( still nice if we're right, but could have been much higher  for all with perhaps 100 million fewer shares o/s)  insiders have lower risk with more knowledge, they can more safely accumulate, and often at zero ...more

I am saying that it looks like Baxter has an excellent chance in being the purchaser but only Seto knows. It would be the US rights.
Comment by Gorf79 on Jul 19, 2022 9:58pm
How could it be anybody but Baxter? They have already essentially launched  PMX to shareholders and their sales force. Honestly, who else will take out PMX?
Comment by mercedesman on Jul 19, 2022 10:15pm
Maybe Elon.  only 1/5th the price of Twitter and probably more lucrative in the long run. but seriously there are other major distributors of medical equipment - just don't ask me to list them.  the heavy lifting would be done : -assuming FDA Approval accomplished after 20 years of Trials and $100m spent  ( including FDA approved companion diagnostic)  ...more

Only a Baxter takeout computes for me. I think it's a matter of days now. And yes dilution sucks but it's the price of admission and you and I were both allowed to accumulate in the low 20s for weeks late fall/ early winter. I doubled my position at stupidly low 22ish cent levels. I know you accumulated there as well. The PSU handout was an obvious cue to go heavy in accumulating but ...more

These guys have to be comped for dragging PMX over the finish line MM and Dr. Kellum and Amory at Dialco weren't leaving their super high profile positions for rougjly 400K or less to come work in the West Mall. What would Kellum make on a speaking tour or pharma consulting? Seto landed a couple of whales with these hires. I suppose Dr. Walker did as well... I don't begrudge them being ...more
