Low Share Price Because...
Hit $0.255 per share this morning. This is very low for a share that is in a confirmatory trial and has completed 61 of 90 patients (interim point and 60% of total confirmatory trial) and is EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS. Further, Baxter is on the sidelines and made their intentions and commitment to PMX and the EAA absolutely clear. From the product development perspective things couldn't be much better, the prospects couldn't be higher and the ultimate value of the phase 3b looking like a multi billion dollar success. For a very serious, large and unmet medical need. And a product proven effective outside the US where it is approved.
The recent shareholder vote underscores why the share price is low. Several long standing directors (Bihl, Nosenzo, Seto) very close to a non-confidence vote. Many others with unusually low support. A long term incentive plan very close to defeat. And the carte blanche share consolidation plan shot down by the shareholders.
So the evidence indicates the real problem with the share price is the BOD governance and management. Based on the nature of the votes a very large shareholder constituency does not trust them to govern appropriately. There is no other conclusion that can be reached. Rumor has it that a new financing is underway and the dropping share price seems evidentiary to this rumor. Who does this dropping share price benefit? You guessed it...

Is your thinking... they saw the company spent 20 years and $ 100+ million to get to where they are today (having seen the entire dataset from the last trial) so they said.. oh we will give them $5 million but when they get to interim enrolment and spend another $ 40 million to get there... we will give them $ 20 million?
