If the powers that be are duping their SH'ers, why wouldn't they also be duping  Baxter, and Toray, and Kellum, and Birch Hill, and the FDA, and Ronco, 20 or so ICU hospital teams, etc. etc. etc. ? LOL funny post.  I guess we also duped Baxter into believing that they are going to start selling PMX this year or next year at the latest.  Don't believe me, just look at footnote #2 on that Baxter slide.

They are not duping anyone. It's clear to anyone who spends 5 minutes with the enrollment numbers that they are moving at an unsustainable rate. Someone will have to step in if this is going to save lives or return a profit.

Looks like Baxter expects a market launch in 24 or 25. That would seem to indicate that they may not need a full run to 150.

Certainly possible !  I also wonder about the possibility of conditional approval, with real world usage allowed until the trial reaches a full statistical conclusion. The final results, once fully analyzed along with EDEN results , determines things like : breadth of use (label), dosage considerations, final pricing, etc.  MM

Let's not forget that the EAA is fully FDA approved for years World Wide and PMX is Heath Canada Approved! Baxter is able to Launch the EAA in North America, the 2 Products in Canada and this would start the Process with PMX coming to North America as the ONLY FDA Approved solution for ENDOTOXIC Septic Shock and perhaps the New Standard Of Care!  Baxter will give Vantive an Early

Just wait until it finally comes out that PMX also greatly helps prevent Chronic Kidney Disease in septic shock survivors, aka CKD.  Just not dying from septic shock is amazing and awesome in amongst itself, BUT, the lasting effects of Septic Shock to the survivors is also a very severe punishment.  Not to be ungreatful that they lived, but a future life of dialysis 3-4 times a week

Great point that's often overlooked.  it's not just life itself, but Quality of Life, - post Septic Shock. Reduced Vasdopressors, reduced ventilation, reduced damage to vital organs   Insurance Companies and or families could justify the expense of PMX on just that alone.  The Trial, rightly or wrongly focusses on 28-day mortality... almost ignoring this huge benefit
