Baxter ramping up hiring for Vantive

There are 93 positions for Vantive in 16 countries listed on the Baxter website. 87 of them were posted yesterday or today. 3 were from earlier in February and 3 from January.

The 6 positions posted before yesterday were Baxter positions with a connection to Vantive. All of the Vantive poditions were posted in the last 2 days.

Thx for digging in on this g  Looks like Vantive has the green light and that the July timeframe IS still the goal  I have acquired some Baxter shares in the low 40's and low 30's. Spin-offs are usually shareholder positive events ( if you time them right) - as the sum of the parts can be worth more than the whole.  Plus although the Vantive spin-off is expected to

Nice find.  Looks like things are on schedule for a Vantive spin off in July.  I'd imagine the surge in hiring is to cover all those over lapping jobs that the Baxter and Vantive had shared in the past but now need individually.  It will be interesting to follow this spin out and how she performs, especially where she 'prices' on opening day.

Since yesterday Baxter has posted another 48 Vantive positions - 135 open positions have been posted in the last 3 days. There is every sort of position available. They are looking for engineers, accountants, lawyers, lab technicians, delivery drivers, marketing directors, IT people, QA people etc. etc. If Vantive is supposed to be launched in July this is a very long lead time. Hey g I actually think that if anything they are leaving it late.  The recruiting process for mid level positions can take 6-8 weeks before hiring decisions. Then allow for 2-4 weeks notice period for previous employers. There's 3 months right there.  You want those people firmly in their positions before the IPO especially all those lawyers, accountants, marketing types, etc

Hi MM - they are posting for a lot of senior and mid-level positions but they are also looking for delivery drivers, office staff, part-timers, and junior positions. Not every prospective employee has a position they need to give notice for and not everyone will be able to wait 4 months for the job to start. But realistically, the company being hired for doesn't even exist yet as a separate

Hey g I think the main point is that they are actively recruiting for and setting up the new entity ... which in my mind is great news.  Also it doesn't necessarily mean that they are gearing up for PMX/EAA sales just yet either... it may just be the infrastructure for the break-away entity.  However, as others and I have said, they may want to create some more excitement

If any of you people have a friend/family that is looking to make his/her mark in H/R, tell her to apply at Vantive, cuz they are setting up a whole new depaartment lol, your niece/nephew could be head of H/R if she's sharp enough lol.   MM

There are 411 Vantive related jobs posted on Baxter's Careers page in the last month. That seems like a lot of new jobs but Vantive is expected to have 22,000 employees.
