old enough to remember

when MM repeated hundreds of times that at the 90 interim the FDA was going to step in and review the data for approval.

Now hearing it will be 18 months for the FDA to review- after final submission of data (add an additional 3 months)- and it just brings home how naive and ludicrous the rumor he created and sold really was.

Even a bullish EDT investor has to be able to step back and recognize when someone's agenda is misinformation.. and maybe even ask themselves why?

Also.... where/when is a buyout ever mentioned? Where is Paraldigm saying 2.00?
Comment by mercedesman on Jun 07, 2024 10:32pm
You're so far out to lunch with that post that I'm almost  emarassed for you.  Early buyout upon the formation of Vantive post 90 was ( and still is )  only a possibility ! Failing that, top line release becomes another key date to watch in terms of long overdue shareholder ROI.  Great insights gained today, but I'm not inclined to share my thoughts here ...more

Add to your likes MM, large and profound Insider buying.

More like medium buys showing quasi- commitment from some. ... if I'm being honest.  Hoping that we see more shortly.  Im big on Mgt putting their own money down.  MM

The scenario you made up and repeated ad nauseam was re: the FDA reviewing the numbers at 90 and an early approval.  You can now try and sidestep your history and instead argue that you were just shilling an "early buyout", but we were all here.. and there's dozens of posts in your history that don't back you up.

hmmmmmmm...let's see you came on here hell bent to be our shareholder activist who was going to set management straight.  So what did you achieve?  NOTHING.  NADA.  ZILCH.  THE SQUARE ROOT OF... Why are you here whining at real shareholders that have much to offer with intelligent and reflective analyses.  Why do you spend so much time in negative depravity?  ...more

Ah little Prince, are you sure you're not confused? or projecting? It was you who called management "a cancer" that "needed to be cut out"...  Did you achieve that?
Comment by Accountprince on Jun 08, 2024 11:55pm
My mind and purpose is crystal clear.  I say what I think and I take on risk and reward.  Nothing I've ever said here is directed for you as you're completely irrelevant.  My messages from time to time are very specifically directed.  The fact you read them doesn't give you any rights or control over them.  Foam at the mouth as you wish but nobody cares.  ...more

The prince doth protest too much, methinks.. How fun it must be to think people are paid to post on this board to keep your stock down.. how fun to blame it on "handlers" and spy rings.. couldn't be enrollment rate or the extra innings...

I'm equally confused by your purpose here.  AP is quite right on several scores. You appointed yourself as saviour to a group of disgruntled shareholders and failed miserably, proving in the process that you couldn't organize a one-car funeral.  I see that the vote this year didn't go your way either - with an even bigger miss this time.   Your back on the slow ...more

5 years into a 150 person trial..do i need to say anything else?
Comment by Accountprince on Jun 09, 2024 4:02pm
O&G man - you have the permission and blessing of many many here to not have to say anything more...today...the day after that...and so on...and so on...
Comment by oilandgasman on Jun 09, 2024 6:42pm
No need to make this personal. Can you explane the time this has taken as anything but a company competence problem ?
Comment by Accountprince on Jun 10, 2024 12:06am
O&G man - There has been incompetence coupled with world changing events.  The study design didn't have enough sites initially and had to expand from 10 to eventually 23.  The CRO didn't work as planned and they had to find a replacement.  The methods employed were not practical and the trial protocols had to be adjusted.  And it's obvious that there was an ...more

"They" hate the Covid "excuse" and believed it should have been business as usual for ongoing research in ICU's as soon as the final wave subsided.  On the positive side it's notable that a recent study finds that PMX has been used to successfully treat a certain group of Covid patients. Hemopurfusion will likely apply to future nasty viral outbreaks WHEN indeed ...more

With respect to the possibility of a buyout, since Baxter declined a look at the trial results, does this mean a buyout is unlikely before the end of the trial? Accountprince wrote that Baxter(Vantive) "has the compatible hardware already installed in hospitals and ready to go". What might be the implications of this if Baxter sells it's kidney care division to a private equity ...more
Comment by mercedesman on Jun 10, 2024 1:16pm
I don't think a buyout can happen unless or until Baxter has the dough, or until Private Equity decides it makes sense to make a better offer to Baxter which results in more cash than Baxter can raise itself with an IPO. If an IPO of Vantive, then that generates cash to pay down debt and or make acquisitions.  If straight sale of Kidney division ,( perhaps to a newly created entity ...more

Great response. Thanks. It's hard not to champ at the bit, but it seems that before 6 months is up we should at least know which way Baxter is going to go in terms of Vantive spinoff or private equity sale.
Comment by mercedesman on Jun 10, 2024 9:46pm
I don't see Baxter letting this run out until December.  They know the market hates uncertainty and they would run the risk of a market downturn before or around the time of the US election.  Nobody wants to IPO during a Recession or an otherwise nervous market.  MM

Pretty good chance you don't have a clue....again
Comment by BlueJays9293 on Jun 10, 2024 7:59pm
If Baxter goes the IPO route, Baxter will only retain 20% of the new shares in Vantive, Baxter will be required to not sell those shares for 6-12 months, another 20% of shares will be sold at the IPO pricing and will provide Vantive with it's working capital, the other 60% of shares would go to existing shareholders to do with as they please. If Baxter sells directly to private equity, they ...more

"Im sure that some of the armchair quarterbacks here either have better ideas or are content to sit back a criticize the fact that it's taking too long " Could simply be the trail subjects are slowly being cherry picked...IDK how real world results and a 5 year timeline on a very small trial go together. This is not projection, it's fact.
