The Fed

I think the best thing about not owning gold companies would be that one wouldn't need worry about what the Fed will say next.  Or at least not as much.  And it seems the fk'n Fed is saying something almost every day.  And the dumb Gold price Algos are totally programed to respond to every word.  I am curious what the Fed will say when the inflation doesn't just go away, and when the world economy starts to cool as many countries have the worst Covid since the start of it all, and the USA could return to the worst of times Covid wise.

What's your take mm on the importance of the new La Mancha fund to EDV.  20% EDV is a pretty big chunk.

So that's what you 'herd' is it mm?  Ha ha ha I spent all of 2020 in Thailand, a decision based on my thinking that Thailand had it more together than Canada seemed to, and what transpired proved that to be a correct assessment. All through 2020 Thailand was basically Covid 19 free.   But now the Delta variant is ripping through the country with terrible results.  ...more

You are preaching to the converted Ronnie EDV deserves a re-rating. First the investing "herd" must get off the tech train, and be convinced that resources in general, and gold in particular, represent excellent inflation hedges (can't print it, or conjure it up like cryptos). Then it's up to Analysts to properly sort out which gold companies have the most long-lived mines ...more
