FTSE100

The next FTSE100 constituent review date is 2nd March.

Following the recent market shake-out, EDV is predicted to qualify for entry - but, I think it will be a close run thing. Watch the UK share price!

Irrespective, good to see that EDV has been outperforming the GDX over 1 month, 6 month & 1 year timeframes. :)

Cheers,

Mark

With EDV closing at £20.40 in London today, we should easily make in into the FTSE100, by my reckoning. :) Today's closing price is the relevant data for FTSE-Russell's decision. Confirmation tomorrow. Index changes take effect on 21st March, giving time for tracker funds to rebalance.

Hopefully PolyMetal's loss will be EDV's gain https://www.mining.com/web/russian-miners-hit-by-sanctions-likely-to-get-boot-from-ftse-100/ MM

Yes, it's Polymetal and Evraz dropping out, making room for EDV and another company.

FTSE100 entry confirmed: https://www.ftserussell.com/press/ftse-uk-index-series-quarterly-review-march-2022 :) We're in the "big boys" league now - and FTSE100 trackers etc will have to buy! Cheers, Mark
