Odd coincidence ?

Anyone else find it odd that the short position suddenly increases in late November early December?

And that Galnakon suddenly reappears in December adorned in full bashing regalia after a year of no posting ?

All just prior to news on the CEO in January? 

Probably nothing more than just a pure coincidence.

The quality of the information contained in these reports is poor. It would be less dangerous to abandon its publication than to rely on it. IROC's responsibility is limited to publishing these reports, without regard to content, as indicated in the regulations.   Short selling generates significant revenue and hedge funds collude with complacent brokerages, failing to report ...more

ABDPhil, I have no idea if this article represents anything close to what you were alluding to, probably not even close. It's not exactly that, but it's complementary. However, it clearly illustrates that the rules are unfair, or not respected.   If you have time, I suggest this article. There are others, but this one is well done. It is possible that you will have less interest, then, in companies that need to finance themselves on the markets, such as exploration companies.
