UUUU appears to be breaking

from the chains of the Dow and Nasdaq...up today despite lower stock markets...UUUU is oversold.....and uranium and rare earths will resume their rallies....UUUU is situated perfectly to take advantage of this move in mining friendly Utah....jmho dyodd

Oh well, it does not matter breaking or not when the market has a 90% down day. EFR has been down 35% from its recent peak of C$11.97. Anyway, the market is oversold. There may have a dead cat rebounce next week.

for sure we are oversold...you are right

Apparent the link with the major index is holding in a good way. It was a horrible story yesterday. At noon I contemplated whether to take advantage of the weakness and decided not since the market shows highly reactive to events. When the interest rate hike kicks in, not sure what will be the effect. It is interesting that CUR (Consolidated Uranium) which I believe partly owned by EFR was down ...more

ckwong....I dont know much regarding the CUR deal...I am being pretty cautious with UUUU as I am concerned there may be more selling in the general markets which tends to drag down all the stocks...I am lightly nibbling at UUUU on corrections and taking some profit when it rallies ...holding just a very small core position in UUUU....with all the wild volatility it is hard to know what to do...no ...more

the first rule of investing is to protect what you have...limit the losses...dont get too greedy...look for value .... I hope to buy some UUUU at lower prices but none of us know how things will play out....I owned a good silver stock GATO that I loved but only held a very small amount lately because of concerns of investing in third world countries...today GATO got hammered due to negative news ...more

One of the market old hand always reminds me "don't bite more than you can chew." The market is so volatile these days that it can swing both ways in one day. I am just keep watching. When Fed does the first rate hike in March, it can be more volatile even it has been well advertised. Good luck to all.

once the fed begins to actually raise rates...I think then the markets will rally...the market is weak now as it anticaptes the rising rates...once the news hits then the rally could start...who knows...jmho dyodd

The market does not like uncertainty. The FOMC's language is difficult to interpret. That could explain why the uranium stocks are drifted downward. Since last week, most changed their trend to the positive. EFR's turnaround is always quick and nimble, 20% from the low of C$6.90. I agree that if there is any negative effect by Fed's interest hike, it could be short unless they raise ...more

ckwong.. i follo your BB posts.... not sure of the news cycle on EFR but are there any shorter term postive news catalysts for EFR? Seems like it has hit a cieling around 8.60 and although a nice recovery, no where near the 11.50 in early January. I would appriciate your take. TD12

I don't have any advanced knowledge of any news report but it has about $100M in the war chest that allows it to acquire assets. If there is an acredit acquisition, it will be the catalyst to higher price.
