Elections?

IMHO the reason this isn't selling at a much higher px is the the unanswered question of who will be elected (if they ever have an election) and how the results are interpreted.  Pretty scary place to be trying to do business right now.  If the election is held and the result is viewed as favorable, I'll get back in, but think it unwise until then.

Sherritt International built infrastructure costing $ 5 Billion for their nickle project in Madagascar. I am sure they felt confident with the political climate in Madagascar to have invested such an amount, moving forward on a project in this part of the world. Another advantage Energizer will have moving forward will be the low cost to produce, which would be in the ball park of 1/5 the ...more

Anecdotal proof is hardly proof of political stability.  Chinese contractors like China State invested a hefty sum in Libya, and look where they ended up.  I worked for a Middle Eastern Conctractor which did huge projects in Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Libya, and we were all left holding our you know what in our hands.  Yeah, that's the same argument you made, so.....political ...more
