My choice to the residential battery is NO. Why do you need a residential battery if you live in a big city? I am sure to would like to have an electric car. If you live remotely, you may need both residential solar and battery. JMO, this is just a hype. tiger

If a residential battery will save people money in the long term , then why would this not work ?

It's just my thought, and not much research on my part. My common sense tells me that most people live in a big city, so no problem with electricity, unless you live in a remote areas, have your wind farm or solar farm, and need to store your power with your batteries. So for most of people, it is unrealistic, for some people, less than 0.1% of polulation, it may be yes. JMO. tiger
