107 Mio Ounces?
The number of ounces at Pulacayo sounds like a lot at first. Apogee Silver carried out an economic assessment in 2013. Over a mine life of 12 years, a total of 19.5 million ounces of silver are to be produced - that is, 1.62 million ounces per year. Regardless of the fact that ELEF will never receive capital to build the mine, let alone have the know-how, the production would ultimately be manageable and insignificant for a large mining company.
