May as well go worst case scenario here... what's the cash flow impact to a line 5 shutdown?

According to Enbridge it would reduce "flow" by 3-5%.

I will not assume line 5 gets shutdown: 1- The line operating pressure is 150 pound/sq inch. The line was tested in 1953 at 1200 PSI. 8 times the operating pressure. It was recently tested again at 1200 PSI and passed the test. This proves that operating years did not weaken the pipline. 2- ENB loss will be insignificant compared to the state loss. Thx Abouttime1. I said 3-5% since the changes to the Line would give them increased delivery options that have not yet been factored into the ebitda of 2022. Alos they would have the option to divert part of the delivery although probably not all. So again...Shut it down as "they" want and let them freeze.After 1 winter they will come back to the bargaining table AND as a bonus ...more
