TD Web Bdroker down again

TD's online brokerage is a great service for the most part until it isn't.

When the going gets tough, TD's Web Boker crumbles like it did yesterday and today.

Yep, apparently they are all down...scotia cibc very slow RBC down etc. Guess thats how you punish the retailers like us. Trades are still going through but we cant put an order in.....

Scotia also had problems with iTrade today (and earlier this week). I don't think they use the same platform at all, but they rely on the same data streams provided by the exchanges - and that is most likely the bottleneck. My guess is all the GME and AMC hype (to name but a couple) added a bunch of bandwidth requirements that were relatively new, and it caught the brokerage ...more
