Regarding the US Supreme Court, of the 9 justices of the Supreme Court, 6 were appointed by a Republican president, and 3 were appointed by a Democratic president. I guess you never know, but this is an International treaty, and International arbitrage will be required.

So far they've been left leaning and silent on a lot of issues, even someone like Kavanaugh who got dragged through embarassing hearings by democrats.
