LOL and how many years will that take to build. They should have built that a long time ago. But hey I was born and raised in Alberta and I remember daddy Trudope so the saying went back then "Let those Eastern bas****ds freeze in the dark" well maybe that bumper sticker will go back on sale. My guess Line 5 will continue.

I've wondered about this. If L5 was to shut down, perhaps Parliament could pass an Energy Emergency Act that approves the immediate and expedited contruction of EE. Invoke the Charter Notwithstanding clause to nullify any opposition. Kinda like an energy version of the War Measures Act.

Quebec will never agree to it. All projects in Quebec have to be green in order to be approved. Green machinery, green flags, green stickers, green unions, green soil, green oil. God forbid to disturb a green bird. Unless the fed gov steps in ... it'll never happen. Line 5 is the solution.
