Not likely.  ISIS guys let loose as the regime collapsed are the far more logical culprits.  Taliban are trying to root them out.

OL GRIZ - Perhaps our Supreme Leader should keep Canadian troops in Afghanistan after the Aug 31st deadline like he suggested on the 6 o'clock news the other night. After all, Canadians are are a caring helping bunch, let our leader show the world how much Canada cares by keeping our troops there a few more months.  That might be a better look than raising the middle finger to the Afghans

Meh,  yesterday's Mujahideen is today's Taliban and today's Taliban is a front for Al Qaeda.  No world power has ever been able to rout the Afganis and their own people should have been more aware of that than anyone else.
