Not sure what authority UN has over this. If I were to guess I would say none. A lot of media coverage for sure. But ENB investors are used to negative media coverage already. UN is a joke. All critical issues are vetoed by its members due to macroecomic and geopolitical interest and influence. UN resolved the crises in Ukraine, Siria after all right? Strong condamnation, zero results.

If the U.S. has decided the energy flow is in its interest, which it essentially has, it would thumb the nose, pump the fist and f art in the U.N.'s general direction, should it attempt a sanction.
