I'm sure the market will punish ENB Monday morning. Are we heading back to 45 before year end ? SILKOS - I hope you didn't blow all your cash on your Black Friday stock market spending spree !

Did the stock jump when they submitted the application in the first place? Nope. So I assume that the impact will be limited if any. If the markets are shaky next week, then ENB won't be safe either. If it drops further you should chase it down all the way to the next resistance point. Not concerned at all.

I wouldn't be surprised if China grabs Taiwan while we're all panicking over some lousy virus.

JOE - Good point, I didn't even think of that. Afterall, this whole Covid thing is China's fault anyway. They did it deliberately to fcuk the world three ways to Sunday, and so far, so good, that's EXACTLY what they've accomplished... Quint As I recall, TMX capacity is locked-in via long-term contracts. When that line comes online, it could lead to less/fluctuating demand for ENB's mainline if oil production or refiner endpoint demand is ever insufficient to fully load all the pipelines running out of Alberta. I don't think it will ultimately be a serious issue, but it does put ENB at a possible disadvantage.

I was always kind of curious as to why Enbridge had not yet thrown its hat in the ring to acquire TMX after completion. That might solve this problem.
